How to Order Sets

After you have received the Arledge Measuring Kit, use the Arledge tape measure.
Pull enough tape to equal the length of the piano and lock it.
Thread the tape from the front under any plate struts along the lowest string towards the lowest hitch pin.
Carefully finesse the tape under the damper felt.
Place the tape measure eye around the hitch pin and gently pull the slack.
The tape should run unobstructed along the length of the lowest string.
The tape measure will remain anchored on the respective hitch pin of each string for the distance measurements.

For the lowest string measurements in the bass section:

1) Measure from the hitch pin to the center of the speaking or front bridge pin of the lowest string.

2) Measure from the hitch pin to the center of the agraffe of the lowest string. 3) Measure from the hitch pin to the top of the tuning pin of the lowest string.
